What pass types can I choose from? Which pass is best for me?

How to find out about your pass validity (what journeys are included, where it can be used), in which direction it can be used (one-way, return, both directions), time of day (morning, afternoon, evening)...

There are several pass types available on the Zeelo platform. It's important to note that your employer or school will decide which passes are best suited to the program, so you may not have all available.

Pass options

Ride bundles

Great for flexibility, if you plan to use the program regularly but not every day.

This pass type allows you to buy a certain amount of credits to use.  A bundle (in any specified amount) is a preset amount of rides that can be used flexibly.

1 ride in a single direction = 1 credit.

You can travel in both direction using this pass.

These will have credits and can be purchased in top-up amounts that vary in quantity, for example, 10, 20, 50 or 100 ride credits.

  • To learn about the "AutoTop-up" feature, which allows for automatic credit additions to your Ride bundle, please refer to this article. This feature will only be available if your employer has chosen to enable it for the program. If it is not available, you will need to manually add credits to your Ride bundle.

Credits are valid for the duration of the program. For schools, that means they will expire at the end of the school year and can't be carried over to next year.

Travel passes

Travel passes allow you to travel within a period of time (these pass dates are shown when booking). For Commuters, these are usually valid for the entire duration of the program. For schools, they tend to cover a full term or academic year.

Once purchased, you can use the Travel pass to book trips for all the days included in the specified date range.

  • School Travel Passes: Great for regular users and peace of mind with guaranteed bookings. The school typically enables the "Auto-booking" feature, ensuring that students are automatically scheduled for trips each day. If you notice that only a limited number of days are visible in your travel pass, it may be due to the team scheduling trips just a few days or weeks in advance. Rest assured, as additional trips are scheduled, you will be automatically booked for those as well.
  • Commuter Travel Passes: Bookings generally need to be made manually, as your preferred travel times may vary. The learn more about how to book a seat after buying a Ride bundle, read this article.

📌 Please note that "booking rules" for each individual Travel Pass may vary but should be specified when purchasing the Travel Pass on the booking page.

Single/ Returns (or Round-trip) - also referred to as "Day Pass".

Great for ad-hoc usage, zero commitment, pay-as-you-go.

These allow you to book one-off trips on a specific day & time.

They can be on the same day or different days & need to be booked before the cut-off time chosen by your organization. They cannot be cancelled, but they can be rescheduled for another day if your plans change, as long as you change them before the cut-off time. More about the cut-off time in this article. You can only get a Day pass if there are seats remaining on the vehicle, seats come on a first come first serve basis.
