You can't get a pass / ticket for a route because the system says "sold out" / "no seats available", the bus running this route is either at full capacity or this type of pass is sold out. How to check availability or join a Waiting list.
Why is this happening?
When attempting to purchase a Travel pass or a Ride bundle on a busy route, you might encounter a notification indicating that the route is sold out. This occurs because your employer or school determines the number of seats available on each route. Once all seats have been sold to other users, you will receive an alert that the route is no longer available for purchase.
Your organization may also choose to enable a waiting list feature, which allows you to express your interest in additional seats. Depending on your organization’s settings, you may or may not see this option available to you.
What to do next
Sign up for the waiting list (if your organization has this feature enabled) to alert our team about the increased demand for the route. We will then quickly inform your school or employer of this demand, allowing them to consider options such as expanding the vehicle capacity or adding another vehicle to service the route.
How to join a waiting list
You can currently only join a waiting list on our Web-app
- Access the Program page via the Web-app (UK link, US link, IE link)
- Select your desired pickup & dropoff.
- Select a Travel pass or Ride bundle.
- When you try to proceed to checkout, the "Route sold out" warning will appear.
- Fill in the form and submit.
- When additional seats become available on this route, those on the waiting list will receive notifications via email and SMS, based on the order in which they joined the list. For instance, if you were the first to sign up for the waiting list, you will be the first to receive a notification.
- ⏱️ You will be given a 5-hour window to complete your purchase before the next user on the waiting list gets notified.
