This article explains the booking process and which personal details you should provide when getting a pass and booking seats on behalf of your child
Here are the steps to getting started with setting up your parent account or children's account:
1. Head to the Program page
If you're not sure how to do this, click here.
2. Select your stop location and destination
If you are on the app, click book now to be taken to the stop options
If you are on your web browser, you will be able to choose the stops in the right-hand panel.
3. Choose your pass
There may be a few different passes available. If you need more information to evaluate the options, click here
4. Create an account or log in
When managing bookings for a school student, you can decide to use one of the following setups:
- As a parent or guardian, you can set up an account using your own email address and then link your children to your account for easy management. This option is particularly recommended if your children do not yet have a smartphone.
- Set up a Zeelo account using your children's individual email addresses if they have their own smartphones. This option is ideal if you trust them to manage their bookings and make payments through their accounts.
5. Telling us who is travelling
Depending on whose details you have used to create the account:
- If you created the account using a Parent or Guardian's email address, you will need to provide the names and dates of birth for each child.
- If you created the account with your child's email address, it is important for them to select their own name from the dropdown menu when asked to specify who is traveling.
This ensures that the correct names are associated with the boarding passes, providing the driver with an accurate list of student names.
6. Pay for the Pass or Ride bundle

7. Manage bookings
When you open a Travel Pass or Ride bundle:
- If you are managing bookings for your children, their names will appear at the top of the booking list. To switch between multiple children, simply swipe left or right on the Rider App, or use the left-right arrow on the web app.
- If your child is managing their own bookings, they will only see their bookings.
