How to create notifications

1. Select ‘Routes’ from the main side menu bar:

 

2. Select ‘default settings':

 

3. Select the notifications tab and select the new default notification button:

4. Click on the Trigger type drop-down box and select the notification you wish to create first:

 

Select the audience and adjust the time if required:

 

A suggested headline and message will appear, but it can be edited as required.

When all required notifications have been created, select SAVE:

 

Sending live journey notifications:

 

Select the route for which you wish to send a notification and click on ‘Calendar’

 

Select ‘View journey’

 

Click on ‘Send notification’:

 

Select the audience for the notification from the drop-down list:

Observers- allows for observers for a single passenger to be notified

All observers – all observers of all passengers booked on or using the journey

Downstream Observers – this excludes observers of passengers who have already been disembarked

Driver – sends the notification to the driver’s device

 

For the observer option, select the passenger to whose observers you want to send the notification, then type a message as required using no more than 150 characters:

Click ‘Send’ to send the message:
